Digital design for users with disabilities
Ballast work with websites and apps to make sure they correspond to the European Accessibility Act. Our focus is to make sure that the digital platforms are accessible to all following the rules of WCAG (Web Content Accessibilty Guidelines). We take our pride in user involvement, and always root for the actual users to be included.
Michala and Helle from Ballast will give you the chance to go though different eye diseases and get some user perspective and talk about the challenges of pushing for user involvement among our public customers. They’ll give their talk at the meetup at Klub, on Sep 28.

About Michala Manikarnika and Helle Vedø Demi
Michala and Helle are both sustainable design engineers pushing for more social sustainability. They are two of the three founders of Ballast CPH and have a lot of experience doing user tests with users with all kinds of disabilities. The Ballast catch phrase is “Sustainable User experiences”
